Monte Carlo part two: It’s time for a haiku!

Once again, the Monte served us well last night. Divine drink, stellar service, fabulous friends, great gabbery in general. Alas, the other patrons may have thought our volume was excessive.... Oh well, what did they expect?



Here's the haiku:

Rounded edges, haze
Morning arrives too early
Strong friendship, always

    Thanks Biz... did you like the sonnet? That took me about an hour to do - considering all the rules I had to follow, I guess it wasn't too bad...

    I really do admire real poets like you... you know the real balance of inspiration and grinding work... I just heard Nikki Giovanni being interviewed as PArt of MPR's Talking volumes.. (http://minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2009/01/26/midmorning2/) I want to grow up to be like her...
